São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Jacobabad is a city in the Sindh province of Pakistan, located in the southeast of the country, near the Sindh-Balochistan border and about 50 kilometers from the Indian border. Named after the 19th-century British general John Jacob, the city is one of Sindh's major agricultural and trading centers, with major crops including cotton, wheat, and sugarcane, and a local agricultural economy that supports the livelihoods of several surrounding villages. Jacob Abad has a population of about 500,000, speaks mainly Urdu and Sindhi, and has a tropical desert climate with hot summers and mild winters. As a transportation hub, it connects major cities such as Karachi and Lahore and plays an important role in regional trade. In addition, the city has a number of historic buildings and traditional markets that showcase Pakistan's unique cultural landscape.
