Pengjiang District is the main urban area of Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, China, located in the western wing of the Pearl River Delta, and is the political, economic and cultural center of Jiangmen City. As an important node city of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Pengjiang District is located in the connecting zone between the Guangzhou-Foshan metropolitan area and the western part of Guangdong Province, with convenient transportation and quick access to Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhuhai and other neighboring cities through expressways and intercity railways.
