São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Caidian District is located in the western part of Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China, and is an important municipal district under Wuhan City. Located at the confluence of the Yangtze River and the Han River, it has abundant water resources and agricultural advantages, and is famous for its specialty agricultural products such as lotus root and aquaculture. The region covers an area of about 1,100 square kilometers, with a population of about 800,000 and an economy dominated by industry, agriculture and tourism. Caidian has a long history and deep cultural heritage, with cultural heritages such as the legend of Zhiyin's hometown and Songyang Temple. In recent years, with the economic development of Wuhan, Caidian has been actively integrated into the city circle, and its infrastructure and ecological environment have been continuously improved, making it a modern new district that is pleasant to live and work in.
