Lucignano is a medieval town in the province of Arezzo in the Italian region of Tuscany, located in the hills between Siena and Arezzo. This unique town with its circular layout is considered a model of the "ideal city", and its historic center is a labyrinth of oval-shaped concentric circles.
Dating back to the Etruscan and Roman periods, Rusi has preserved its medieval walls and fortifications. The town's church of San Francesco houses the 14th-century golden altarpiece "Tree of Life", a Gothic masterpiece made of coral, crystal and enamel. The annual flower festival "Flora de Maggia", held in May, is a traditional event in the region.
Visitors can stroll through the stone streets, admire the historic buildings such as the Palazzo Municipale and the Museo della Sacramenta, and taste the Tuscan specialties of wine and olive oil. The town's high point, with its panoramic view of the Val di Chiana Valley, is known as one of the most romantic viewpoints in Tuscany, making it an ideal destination for in-depth tours of Italy.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
