São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Zalaid Banner is located in the northeastern part of China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, belonging to Xing'an League, and is situated in the transition zone between the southern foothills of the Daxing'anling Mountains and the Songnen Plain. With a total area of 11,000 square kilometers and a resident population of about 400,000, it is an agricultural and animal husbandry flag county with Mongolian as the main body and Han, Manchu and other multi-ethnic groups living together.
The terrain is high in the west and low in the east, belonging to temperate continental monsoon climate, with grassland, woodland and cultivated land diversified ecology. Chuoer River runs through the whole territory, is an important tributary of the Nenjiang River, nourishing high-quality pastures and agricultural areas, known as the "grain silo under the Xing'anling".
Livestock and agriculture are the leading industries, producing corn, soybeans, cattle and sheep, as well as special Mongolian medicinal materials. Traditional Mongolian culture is well-preserved, and the non-heritage projects such as Naadam Assembly, national handicrafts and folk songs are unique and charming. In recent years, it has vigorously developed eco-tourism, with grassland scenery and folklore experience attracting many tourists.
About 100 kilometers from Wulanhot Airport, G111 National Highway runs through the north and south, is an important node connecting the northeast and Inner Mongolia. As a key flag county of Xing'an League agriculture and animal husbandry, it is actively promoting the processing of green agricultural and livestock products and the integrated development of culture and tourism.
