São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Amalousio is a major city in the northern part of the Attica region of Greece, part of the Athens metropolitan area, about 13 kilometers from the center of Athens. As a modern commercial and residential center in the northern suburbs of Athens, the city is known for its dense concentration of corporate headquarters, shopping centers and high-end neighborhoods.
Nestled at the foot of Mount Penteli, bordered by Kifissia to the east and Heraklio to the west, Amalousio has a total area of 12.86 square kilometers. Administratively divided into the neighborhoods of Daphni and Cato Amarucio, it has a permanent population of approximately 70,000, making it one of the most densely populated cities in Attica.
The city has the highest concentration of corporate headquarters in Greece, including multinationals, technology companies and financial centers. The iconic "Golden Square" business district is home to luxury stores and fine restaurants, while the area around Maroussi metro station is a central business hub.
Amalucio retains its neo-classical architecture and traditional churches, as well as a large sports complex and green parks. The annual summer cultural festivals and marathons attract many tourists, and the convenient metro system provides quick access to world heritage sites such as the Acropolis.
