Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
Huainan County is located in the eastern part of Heilongjiang Province, south of Jiamusi City, located in the western part of the Three River Plain and the intersection of the remaining veins of the Wanda Mountains, east of Fujin City, south of Qitaihe City, west of Huachuan County, north of Jiamusi City, is an important node of the city of Harbin to Shuangyashan, Jiamusi. The total area of the county is about 2227 square kilometers, with 6 towns and 4 townships under the jurisdiction of the county, with a population of about 400,000, which is a multi-ethnic settlement with the intermingling of cultures of Han, Manchu and Korean. As a national commodity grain base county, Huainan has fertile black soil, producing soybeans, rice, corn and other high-quality agricultural products, with an annual output of more than 2 billion pounds of grain, known as the "grain silo on the Three River Plain". Forest coverage of 38%, with Shilongshan Reservoir, Qixingfeng National Forest Park and other ecological landscapes, both agricultural heritage and natural scenery. In recent years, relying on green agriculture, eco-tourism and mineral resources (e.g. coal, silica), Huainan is accelerating the revitalization of the countryside and industrial upgrading, which makes it a pleasant county to live and work in the northeast.
