Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Ninotsminda is a city in the Samtskhe-Javakheti Region of southern Georgia, adjacent to the Armenian border. Originally named Bogdanovka, the city was renamed during the Soviet period in honor of the poet Ninotsminda. Located on the Javakheti Plateau, at an altitude of about 1,940 meters above sea level, the climate is cold and dry, with long winters. The population of about 6,000 is predominantly Armenian.
Ninotsminda has a long history and is surrounded by monuments such as the 5th century AD Kumuldo Cathedral.
