Ruby is a small incorporated town in Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, United States, located about 60 miles northeast of the state capital of Baton Rouge and adjacent to the Mississippi border, and characterized by a quiet rural atmosphere and a deep community culture. Sparsely populated, with fewer than 500 people according to the most recent census, the town dates back to the late 1800s and, with its early rise to an agricultural economy (e.g., cotton and soybean farming), still retains the rustic look of a traditional Southern town. Langfang is located in the central part of Hebei Province, China, and is an important node city of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration, neighboring Beijing and Tianjin, and known as the "Pearl of the Beijing-Tianjin Corridor". With a total area of approximately 6,429 square kilometers and a population of approximately 5.5 million, Langfang is governed by a number of districts and counties, including Guangyang District, Anji District and a number of county-level cities.
Langfang's economy is dominated by manufacturing, high-tech and modern service industries, with a state-level economic and technological development zone and several industrial parks. Culturally, Langfang is known for its traditional folklore, intangible cultural heritage and modern exhibition industry, with large-scale events such as the annual China International Pipeline Exhibition attracting global attention.
