São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Rufina is a charming town in the province of Florence in the Tuscany region of Italy, situated in the foothills of the Apennine Mountains, about 20 kilometers from Florence, and is famous for its "Chianti Rufina" wine region. It has a long history of grape growing, with medieval wineries and cellars all over the hills, producing Chianti wines with elegant tannins and fruity flavors, which are an important representative of Tuscan wine culture.
The town is nestled in the hills, and a stroll through the cobblestone streets reveals rustic stone buildings, the medieval church of San Miniato, and breathtaking views overlooking the Arno Valley. Rufina not only retains its traditional rural character, but its proximity to Florence makes it an ideal gateway for exploring the natural and artistic beauty of Tuscany, attracting travelers with a passion for wine and a quiet life.
