São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Changping Town is located in the eastern part of Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, at the core of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Economic Corridor, and is the eastern center of Dongguan. As an important transportation hub in South China, Changping has Changping Station (general-speed railroad) and Changping South Station (high-speed railway station), where several railroad lines such as Beijing-Kowloon, Guangzhou-Shenzhen and Guangzhou-Meizhou-Shantou converge to achieve direct access to international cities such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong within one hour, and the convenient transportation network promotes the development of its logistics and commerce industries. Economically, Changping takes advanced manufacturing industry as the pillar, covering electronic information, hardware and mold, textile and garment industry clusters, etc. Meanwhile, it relies on the railroad advantage to build a railroad logistics base in South China, which has become a regional material distribution center. As a famous hometown of overseas Chinese, Changping has both Lingnan cultural heritage and modern urban vitality. Attractions such as Yinxian Villa and Changping Railway Park blend history and leisure, attracting many tourists, and it is a modern and powerful town in eastern Dongguan integrating transportation, industry and culture.
