Sełice is a city in the Silesian Voivodeship of southern Poland, located in the Katowice metropolitan area, with a population of about 50,000 people. It is part of the Upper Silesia industrial region, historically known for coal mining and heavy industry.
The city is located close to Katowice and Gliwice and is easily accessible by road and rail, connecting it to the main cities of Silesia. The surrounding area is surrounded by forests and green areas, providing space for recreation.
The economy, traditionally based on coal mining and metallurgy, has been gradually transformed in recent years towards services and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Sevice is also actively developing business and logistics to attract investment.
