Introduction to Dongzhi, Anhui, China
Dongzhi County is located in the southwestern part of China's Anhui Province, under the city of Chizhou, on the south bank of the Yangtze River, bordering Jiangxi Province. The county has a total area of 3,261 square kilometers and a population of about 550,000 people. As an important node of the Wanjiang City Belt, Dongzhi has a long history and cultural heritage, which was founded in the Western Han Dynasty, and is a typical fish and rice town in the south of the Yangtze River.
Natural and Tourism Resources
Dongzhi is rich in landscape resources, with Shengjin Lake National Nature Reserve (wetland of international importance), Tiantai Mountain Forest Park and other ecological scenic spots.
