Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.

It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
Xinshe is located in the northern part of Taichung City, Taiwan, China, and is a typical township combining agriculture and tourism. With a suitable climate at an altitude of about 500 meters, it is known as the back garden of Taichung. The locality is famous for its high cash crops such as loquats, grapes, and shiitake mushrooms, which account for an important proportion of the annual production in Taiwan.
The Xinshe Flower Festival is the largest flower-viewing event in Taiwan, attracting more than a million visitors every winter. Attractions such as the Zhongxinsha Manor and the Muxinquan Leisure Farm offer ecological experiences, while the Bailengshen Historic Water Conservancy Project is an important cultural asset. Local lodgings and specialty restaurants (such as mushroom cuisine) form a complete tourism industry chain.
It takes about 40 minutes by car from Taichung City and is adjacent to Dongshi and Shigang districts, with convenient transportation to the Guguan Hot Spring area. Highway 21 is the main connecting road, which is suitable for planning a day trip to Taichung Mountain City.
