Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
Located in the southeast coast of Guangdong Province, under Shanwei City, SITUFENG is at the intersection of the Pearl River Delta (PRD) and the east coast of Guangdong, neighboring Shantou in the east, Huizhou in the west, and bordering on the South China Sea in the south, and it is a famous old revolutionary area. It is the hometown of Peng Pei, the leader of China's peasant movement, and the birthplace of the first county-level soviet regime in the country, the Sailufeng Soviet Government. It is rich in red cultural resources, with Peng Pei's former residence, the Red Palace, the Red Square, and other revolutionary sites carrying a heavy revolutionary history. SITC has beautiful natural scenery, Lotus Mountain National Forest Park is the ecological barrier in east Guangdong; along the coastline is long, with coastal scenic spots such as Red Bay, both fishing port style and seaside vacation characteristics. In addition, SITC is also the "Hometown of Chinese Folk Art", non-heritage culture such as Zhengzhi Opera and Xiqin Opera has been passed down to the present day, and the local delicacy, SITC Beef Balls, is also famous for its freshness and tenderness, and has become a bright business card of the dietary culture of the eastern part of Guangdong Province.
