Introduction to Sevan, Armenia

Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".

Jari, Guinea is an inland town located in the eastern part of Guinea, belonging to the Kankan Region, near the upper tributaries of the Niger River, bordering Guinea-Bissau and Mali, and is an important regional trade node. As a typical West African agricultural town, Jari's economy is based on cultivation, producing rice, peanuts, millet and other crops, and the local market is active, with agricultural products from neighboring villages being distributed here.
