Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
Located in the center of Shandong Province, Daiyue District belongs to Tai'an City, and is situated at the foot of Taishan Mountain (anciently known as "Dai Zong"), named after the mountain, which is the core carrying area of Taishan culture. This place has a long history, as early as in the Neolithic era there will be Dawenkou culture flourished here, the territory of the Dawenkou site reveals more than 5,000 years ago the development of Eastern civilization trajectory. Daiyue is located in the north of Jinan, the provincial capital, and in the south of Qufu, the hometown of Confucius, with significant location advantages, which is one of the main urban areas of Tai'an City and a transportation hub connecting central Shandong. Within the natural scenery of Mount Tai and the humanities landscape, with the "Five Mountains" of the magnificent landscape and a deep religious cultural heritage. As a traditional agricultural area, Daiyue produces wheat, corn, peanuts and other crops, Feicheng peaches and other specialty agricultural products are well-known throughout the country. In recent years, Daiyue District, relying on the resources of Mount Tai, to promote the integrated development of culture and tourism, and become an important window to show Qilu culture.
