Fengxin Overview

Fengxin County is located in the northwestern part of Jiangxi Province, China, under Yichun City, and is situated at the southern foot of the Jiuling Mountain Range in northwest Gan. It has a long history, founded in Jian'an four years (199 AD) of the Eastern Han Dynasty, with a history of more than 1,800 years.

History and Culture

Fengxin is the hometown of Song Yingxing, a famous scientist in Ming Dynasty and the author of Tiangongkaiwu, which is known as "the birthplace of Tiangongkaiwu". Retained in the territory of Song Yingxing Memorial Hall, the ruins of Hualin Academy and other historical and cultural relics. Local traditional Nuo culture is included in the national intangible cultural heritage list.
