São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
Aurora is the third-largest city in the U.S. state of Colorado. Located east of the Denver metropolitan area and adjacent to the state capital of Denver, Aurora is an important satellite city in the region. A multicultural city, Aurora has a population of more than 380,000, with significant Hispanic, African-American and Asian populations, creating a rich cultural ecosystem. The city's economy is centered on the aerospace, healthcare and technology industries, with key facilities such as the Fitzsimmons Medical Campus (home to a number of top hospitals and research institutions) and Buckley Air Force Base. In addition, Aurora's natural beauty, proximity to the Rocky Mountains, and abundance of outdoor activities, as well as a well-developed education system, make it one of Colorado's model cities for livability and growth.
