Kochkor Ata is located in the Jalal-Abad Oblast in southwestern Kyrgyzstan and is one of the important towns in the country. It is located on the edge of the Ferghana Basin, about 400 kilometers from the capital Bishkek, and has a mild and dry climate, dominated by agriculture and livestock farming.
