Boiron is a town in the administrative district of Upper Bavaria in the German state of Bavaria, not an independent state. It is located about 50 kilometers south of Munich on the banks of the Isar River in the northern foothills of the Alps and has a population of about 3,500. The town is known for its rich history, its Catholic Benedictine abbey and its natural beauty.
The Abbey of Boiron, founded in the 8th century, is the central landmark of the area and is known for its Baroque architecture and collection of religious art. The town retains its traditional Bavarian houses, hosts annual Christmas markets and other folklore events, and is surrounded by forests and hills, making it ideal for hiking and cycling tours.
The economy is based on tourism, agriculture and small crafts, with easy access to Munich and the Austrian border by road and rail. Boiron embodies the tranquility and cultural heritage of the Bavarian countryside and is an ideal stopover for exploring the German pre-Alpine region.
Shannan City is located in the south of Tibet Autonomous Region of China, the middle and lower reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River, at latitude 27°31′-29°47′N, longitude 90°14′-94°22′E, one of the birthplaces of the ancient civilization in Tibet. The city has a total area of 79,300 square kilometers, with an average altitude of 3,700 meters, under the jurisdiction of 1 district and 11 counties, with a resident population of about 350,000 people.
Shannan is known as the "cradle of Tibetan culture", and is the birthplace of the Tibetan nation and Tibetan culture. Here was born the first dynasty in the history of Tibet - the Tubo Dynasty, established the first palace Yongbrakang, the first Buddhist temple Changzhu Monastery, the first piece of farmland Sodang, the first temple Sangye Monastery. The story of the marriage between Songtsen Gampo and Princess Wencheng also took place here, preserving important historical relics such as the tomb complex of Tibetan kings.
The terrain of Shannan is high in the north and low in the south, with a variety of landforms such as high mountains, grasslands, river valleys, etc. The Yarlung Zangbo River flows through the territory. In recent years, Shannan has been vigorously developing characteristic agriculture and animal husbandry, clean energy and tourism, and important transportation arteries such as G349 National Highway run through the whole territory. As an important area along the China-India border, Shannan has a special strategic position in maintaining national border security, while maintaining the unique cultural traditions of the Menba, Lhoba and other ethnic minorities.
