Kota Kinabalu, or KK for short, is located on the west coast of the Malaysian state of Sabah, and is the state's capital and main economic center. Facing the South China Sea and backed by Mount Kinabalu (Mount Kinabalu), the city is known for its natural beauty and multiculturalism.
Kota Kinabalu is located in the tropics and enjoys a warm and humid climate, with an average annual temperature of about 27°C. It is situated in the northwestern part of Borneo, adjacent to the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, and is a popular destination for eco-tourism, with its rich marine resources and beach landscape.
