Dongtai City is located in the central part of Jiangsu Province, the southern tip of Yancheng City, on the shore of the Yellow Sea, an important node of the northern wing of the Yangtze River Delta city cluster, bordering the Yellow Sea in the east, Xinghua in the west, Nantong in the south, and relying on the main city of Yancheng in the north, with a total area of 3,175 square kilometers and a resident population of about 1,040,000 people. As the core area of the Yellow Sea Wetland, which is a "World Natural Heritage", Dongtai has the largest coastal wetland in China, which is the wintering place of Danding Crane and the breeding place of Elk, so it is rich in ecological resources.
