Dongtai, Jiangsu, China: A New City of Ecology and Industry on the Yellow Sea Wetland
Dongtai City is located in the central part of Jiangsu Province, the southern tip of Yancheng City, on the shore of the Yellow Sea, an important node of the northern wing of the Yangtze River Delta city cluster, bordering the Yellow Sea in the east, Xinghua in the west, Nantong in the south, and relying on the main city of Yancheng in the north, with a total area of 3,175 square kilometers and a resident population of about 1,040,000 people.
