Located in the southeast of Shanxi Province, Yangcheng County is under the jurisdiction of Jincheng City, which was formerly known as Do Ho Suh, and has a long history and deep cultural heritage. It was once the land of the Di people during the Spring and Autumn Period, then belonged to Jin, and returned to Han during the Warring States Period, and is one of the important birthplaces of Chinese civilization. There is the Imperial Palace of Xiangfu, which is the first cultural mansion in northern China, and the former residence of Chen Tingjing, a university scholar in the Wenyuan Pavilion of the Qing Dynasty, which combines the architectural styles of the Ming and Qing Dynasties and is a national 5A scenic spot; there is also the Python River Scenic Spot, which is known as the "Little Guilin in North China", with beautiful landscapes and ecological pleasantness. Yangcheng is rich in non-heritage culture. Yangcheng is rich in intangible cultural heritage, Yangcheng pig iron smelting and casting technology (plow mirror casting) was included in the national intangible cultural heritage list, Yangcheng drums, Yangcheng Taoism and other folk art is unique. As an important part of Jincheng, the "Coal Capital of China", Yangcheng is actively promoting the integration of culture and tourism while inheriting the history and culture, showing the unique charm of a small northern city.
Wuling is located in the northwestern part of China's Hunan Province and is the core area of Zhangjiajie City, known for the World Natural Heritage Wulingyuan Scenic Spot. This area, which covers the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Suoxiyu Nature Reserve, is listed as a UNESCO World Geopark for its unique quartz sandstone peak forest landscape. Thousands of rocky peaks rise up, surrounded by clouds and mist like a fairyland, and were the inspiration for the Hallelujah Mountains in the movie Avatar.
Wuling is not only blessed with magnificent natural landscapes, but also rich in the cultures of the Tujia, Miao and other ethnic minorities. The local traditional villages, folklore performances and specialties (such as Tujia bacon) demonstrate the deep humanistic heritage. As an eco-tourism destination, it offers hiking, photography and adventure activities, attracting millions of tourists annually, and is one of China's first 5A-level tourist attractions.
