Yancheng is located in the eastern coastal area of Jiangsu Province, China, and is an important part of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration. As the largest prefecture-level city in Jiangsu Province, Yancheng is famous for its vast mudflat wetlands and rich ecological resources, and has a national-level Rare Bird Nature Reserve, which is a wintering ground for rare birds such as the Danding Crane.
