Xing'an Township is located in the northwestern part of China's Heilongjiang Province, at the eastern foot of the Daxing'anling Mountains, within the territory of Huma County, on the right bank of the upper part of the Heilongjiang River, across the river from Russia, and is a typical border township. Here belongs to the cold temperate continental monsoon climate, with long cold winters and short cool summers, and a forest coverage of more than 80%, harboring rich wildlife resources. The meandering water systems of Heilongjiang and Huma River in the town form a unique ecological landscape along the river.
