Xiahuayuan District is part of Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, China. It is located in the northwest of Hebei Province, at the intersection of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Economic Circle and the Jin-Hebei-Mongolia Economic Circle. It has a total area of about 315 square kilometers and a population of about 70,000 people. Xiahuayuan has a long history, as early as in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was a military town and a trading center.
Based on coal and other energy industries, Xiayuan has been actively promoting economic transformation in recent years, developing new energy, equipment manufacturing and modern service industries. As an important node of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei synergistic development, Xiahuayuan is gradually becoming a model area for ecological livability and industrial innovation.
With famous scenic spots such as Jiming Mountain and Duanjiabao Natural Scenic Area, Xiayuan blends natural scenery with humanistic relics. The local folk culture is rich, and intangible cultural heritages such as traditional paper-cutting and rice-planting songs are popular among tourists. Xiahuayuan is also gradually becoming one of the tourist hotspots in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region due to its winter snow and ice resources.
São Tomé and Príncipe is an island country in west-central Africa, consisting of the islands of São Tomé and Príncipe and the surrounding islets, with the capital, São Tomé, located in the northeastern part of São Tomé. Located on the Gulf of Guinea, about 200 kilometers from the African continent, the country was colonized by Portugal in the 15th century and became independent in 1975, with Portuguese as the official language and an economy based on agriculture (cocoa, palm oil) and tourism. It should be noted that "Java" is not a city or region of the country; Java is the main island of Indonesia, with cities such as Jakarta and Surabaya, and has nothing to do with São Tomé and Príncipe, possibly due to a confusion of names.
