Wuji County is located in the northwest of Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province, in the hinterland of the Loess Plateau, and is the first county in China to return farmland to forests, where Comrade Mao Zedong commanded the Battle of Wuji Town in October 1935, which crushed the Kuomintang's pursuing troops and laid the foundation for the victory of the Chinese Revolution. revolutionary sites in the area, such as Wuji Revolutionary Memorial Hall and Mao Zedong's former residence, carry a wealth of red memories. Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan.
