Wenjiang District is located in the western part of Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, and is an important part of the downtown area of Chengdu City. As one of the birthplaces of the ancient Shu civilization, Wenjiang has a history of nearly 1,500 years since its establishment in the Western Wei Dynasty, and is known as "Golden Wenjiang". It covers an area of 277 square kilometers, with 6 streets under its jurisdiction and a resident population of about 960,000 people.
Wenjiang is located in the hinterland of Chengdu Plain, belonging to the Dujiangyan essence of the irrigation area, the territory of the Jinma River, Jiang'an River and other rivers across the formation of "water rhyme Wenjiang" ecological pattern.
