Located in central Nebraska, Superior is the county seat of Superior County and is situated along the Platte River, making it an important agricultural service center and transportation hub for the region. Known for its quiet community atmosphere and friendly residents, this small city has a predominantly agricultural economic base, producing corn, soybeans, wheat and other crops, as well as some manufacturing and retail trade.
