Song County belongs to Luoyang City, Henan Province, located in the hinterland of the Central Plains, with a total area of 3,009 square kilometers and a total population of about 600,000 people. It is located in the ecological conservation area of Mount FuNiu, with national forest parks such as BaiYunShan and TianChiShan in its territory, which is known as the "green lung of the Central Plains".
As one of the birthplaces of Xia and Shang cultures, Songxian County has a civilization history of more than 4000 years. There are 46 cultural relics protection units in Song County, such as the hometown of Cheng Hao and Cheng Yi, and Yunyan Temple. An important part of the World Cultural Heritage "Heaven and Earth" historical architectural complex is located here.
Song County is rich in Chinese herbs, edible fungi and specialty agricultural products, and is a nationally important molybdenum production base. In recent years, Song County has been vigorously developing eco-tourism, with the 5A-level scenic spot of Baiyun Mountain and the National Wetland Park of Luhun Lake, which receives more than ten million tourists annually.
Songxian County is located in Zhengzhou, Luoyang, Pingdingshan three cities intersection, 80 kilometers from Luoyang Airport, 311 National Highway, Zheng Luan high-speed through the territory, the construction of the Luan Lu high-speed will further strengthen its position as a regional transportation hub.
