Serang is the regency city of Banten Regency, West Java, Indonesia, located in the northwestern part of the island of Java, about 100 kilometers away from the capital city of Jakarta, which is within the radius of the Jakarta Metropolitan Area. As a regional administrative and economic center, it is conveniently connected to Jakarta and major cities in West Java, and its economy is based on light industry, agricultural trade and services. The local culture is a blend of traditional and modern Javanese elements, with mosques and traditional markets coexisting, demonstrating the diversity of Indonesia. The surrounding natural resources are rich and suitable for the development of eco-tourism, and it is one of the important medium-sized cities in West Java.
Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia.
