Siming District is located in Xiamen, Fujian Province, China, and is the center of Xiamen's urban area and the core economic and cultural district. The name of the district is derived from "Siming Zhou", the memorial site of the national hero Zheng Chenggong, which means "remembering the Ming Dynasty". With a total area of about 84 square kilometers, Siming District is densely populated and highly urbanized, and is known for its thriving commerce, long history and beautiful seaside environment.
The district is home to several famous attractions, such as Gulangyu Island (a World Heritage Site), Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, Nanputuo Temple and Xiamen University, which attract a large number of tourists. Economically, Siming District is one of the most developed districts in Xiamen, led by service, finance, tourism and high-tech industries. In addition, its mild subtropical climate and modern infrastructure make it a hotspot for livability and investment.
Gaozhou City is located in the southwestern part of Guangdong Province, China, under Maoming City, and is situated in the junction area of Guangdong and Guangxi. As a famous historical and cultural city in Guangdong, Gaozhou has a history of more than 1,400 years of founding, and was the seat of Gao Liang County in ancient times and the birthplace of Lady Xian culture. The city has a total area of 3,276 square kilometers and a population of about 1.6 million, with a predominantly hilly and mountainous landscape and a subtropical monsoon climate.
Gaozhou is a large agricultural county in Guangdong, known as "China's first city of fruits", litchi, longan, banana planting area and production ranks first in the country. The industry mainly focuses on processing of agricultural products, metal products, textile and garments, and in recent years, it has been actively developing eco-tourism industry. The city has a well-developed transportation network, with the Baomao Expressway and Shanzhan Expressway running through the whole territory, and is about one hour's drive from Zhanjiang Wuchuan Airport.
Gaozhou preserves Ming and Qing Dynasty monuments such as Baoguang Pagoda, Xian Tai Temple, Guanshan Temple, etc., among which the belief culture of Madame Xian has been listed in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage. Natural landscapes include eco-tourism scenic spots such as Xianren Cave and Fushanling, which receive more than 3 million visitors annually. In terms of education, Gaozhou Middle School is a key middle school in Guangdong Province, and the quality of basic education is well known in the western part of Guangdong.
