Shenyang is the capital and largest city of Liaoning Province in China, located in the southern part of the Northeast region, and is an important hub of the Northeast Asian Economic Circle and the Bohai Economic Circle. As a national historical and cultural city, Shenyang has a history of more than 2,300 years and was once the birthplace of the Qing Dynasty, with such monuments as the Shenyang Imperial Palace (a World Heritage Site), the Qing Zhaoling Mausoleum and the Qing Fuling Mausoleum.
Modern Shenyang is the industrial and transportation core of Northeast China, with a strong base of equipment manufacturing, and is known as the "Ruhr of the East". Boiron is a town in the administrative district of Upper Bavaria in the German state of Bavaria, not an independent state. It is located about 50 kilometers south of Munich on the banks of the Isar River in the northern foothills of the Alps and has a population of about 3,500.
