Shangzhou is located in the southeastern part of Shaanxi Province in China, and is the administrative center of Shangluo City, which is situated at the southern foot of the eastern part of the Qinling Mountains and the upper reaches of the Dan River. As a cultural city with a long history, Shangzhou is famous for the "Four Hao of Shangshan" who lived in seclusion, and has been a major transportation route connecting Guanzhong with the central and southern regions since ancient times. With an area of about 2,672 square kilometers and a population of about 550,000, Shangzhou enjoys a warm-temperate semi-humid climate with four distinct seasons.
Shangzhou boasts a wealth of natural and cultural landscapes, including attractions such as Xian'e Lake and Dayun Temple, and is rich in agricultural specialties such as walnuts and chestnuts. In recent years, it has focused on the development of eco-tourism and green industries, with the G40 Shanghai-Shaanxi Expressway and the Ningxi Railway running through the whole territory, making transportation convenient. It is the hometown of Jia Pingwa and other cultural celebrities, and integrates the characteristics of Qin and Chu cultures, presenting a city style that emphasizes both modern development and historical inheritance.
Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.
Bordering on the Iranian border and about 250 kilometers away from the capital Baku, Satre District is rich in forests and water resources. There are several nature reserves in the district with rich biodiversity, making it an ideal destination for hiking and eco-tourism.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, producing wheat, grapes and nuts. Traditional Azerbaijani culture is preserved in the region, with handicrafts and folk festivals attracting tourists. The Satre district is easily accessible by road, connecting major cities and serving as an important gateway for exploring the south of Azerbaijan.
