Shangqiu is located in the east of Henan Province, at the junction of four provinces, Henan, Shandong, Suzhou and Anhui, and is an important strategic city in the Central Plains Economic Zone. As one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization, Shangqiu has a civilization history of more than 5000 years, and was known as "Bo" in ancient times, which was the capital city of the early Shang Dynasty, and has the reputation of "the source of Yin Shang". It is the birthplace of ancient civilizations such as Suiren's drilling for fire and Xiongnu's stargazing, and there are many historical and cultural relics such as the Ancient City of Shangqiu, Yingtian Academy, and Suwang Mausoleum.
