Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
Lichuan County is located in the east of Jiangxi Province, southeast of Fuzhou City, located at the junction of Gan and Fujian provinces, the western foot of Wuyi Mountain, since ancient times for the "Gateway to Gan and Fujian". The county has a total area of 1,728 square kilometers, with 7 towns and 8 townships under its jurisdiction and a population of about 230,000 people. The ecological environment here is superior, with forest coverage as high as 73.8%, known as the "natural oxygen bar", with Lichuan National Forest Park, Rock Spring National Forest Park and other natural landscapes. Deep historical and cultural heritage, the Ming and Qing Dynasties was the Gan and Fujian border trade town, Lichuan Ancient City well-preserved Ming and Qing Dynasty ancient streets, boat houses, ancestral halls and other buildings, witnessed the "hundred miles of Lichuan merchants and businessmen Xing" prosperity. In recent years, Relying on ecological and cultural resources, Lichuan has vigorously developed the oil painting industry ("Hometown of Oil Painting in China"), ceramic craft and eco-tourism, and has become an emerging tourist destination integrating leisure, culture and industry, attracting tourists from all over the world to explore the unique charms of Gan and Fujian borderlands.
