Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
Langxian County belongs to Linzhi City in the Tibet Autonomous Region, located in the middle and lower reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River, is the eastern gate of Linzhi City, with an average altitude of 3200 meters above sea level, belonging to the plateau temperate semi-humid climate. The forest coverage rate here is over 40%, with natural landscapes such as Ladozo Lake and Zarigle Sacred Mountain, and the average temperature in summer is 18℃, which is an ideal place to avoid the summer heat and cool off. In terms of humanities, Langxian County is an important inheritance place of Tibetan culture, preserving the unique folklore of Kumbum, such as "Kumbum New Year", "Wangguo Festival" and other traditional festivals, as well as the national non-products "Langxian folk dance". "The economy is based on barley and apple cultivation and the development of the country's economy. Economy to barley, apple planting and eco-tourism as the mainstay, of which Langxian apple due to the high altitude, strong light quality, exported to the region and beyond. With snow-capped mountains, lakes, forests and folklore, Langxian is an excellent destination for experiencing the original ecological landscape of Tibet.
