It is the main settlement of the Lahu ethnic group in China. The Lahu ethnic group has a deep cultural heritage, and its traditional festivals, such as the "Lahu Expansion Festival" (Gourd Festival), Lusheng Dance and Pendulum Dance, are unique, displaying a rich ethnic flavor.
