Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. It is an ideal starting point for exploring the nature and history of the Caucasus and is easily accessible for short trips.
Gaomi City is located in the east of Weifang City, Shandong Province, the western end of the Jiaodong Peninsula, the State Council approved the opening up of county-level cities, known as "Phoenix City". As the hometown of Nobel Prize winner Mo Yan, Gaomi's profound cultural heritage has given birth to unique folk art, including ash yearbook, paper-cutting and Mao cavity, which are included in the national intangible cultural heritage, of which ash yearbook is famous for its "half-printing, half-painting" technique, and is known as the "ancestor of Chinese folk painting. "It is located in the core area of Jiaodong Economic Circle. Located in the core area of Jiaodong Economic Circle, Gaomi has convenient transportation, with Jiaoji Railway and Jinan-Qingdao High-speed Railway passing through the city, which is an important node connecting Shandong Peninsula and the inland. Known for its high yield and high efficiency in agriculture, Gaomi is an advanced county in national grain production, and at the same time, relying on textile, machinery manufacturing, chemical industry and other industries, it has formed a diversified economic development pattern, which bears the marks of traditional farming civilization and is full of the vitality of a modernized metropolis.
