Sevan is a small town in the Armenian province of Gegharkunik, located in the eastern part of the country on the shores of Lake Sevan, about 66 kilometers from the capital city of Yerevan. The town is famous for its eponymous alpine lake, Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Eurasia, at an altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Pearl of Armenia".
Lake Sevan is surrounded by magnificent landscapes and crystal clear waters, making it an important tourist and recreational destination in Armenia. The town boasts historical monuments such as the Sevan Monastery, a 9th-century monastery situated on a peninsula overlooking the lake, which attracts many tourists and pilgrims. The local economy is based on fishing, tourism and agriculture, and the climate is cool enough for summer vacations.
With a population of around 20,000, the town of Sevan retains its traditional Armenian culture, while the infrastructure is constantly being improved to provide accommodation and catering services. Bolans is a coastal village and town in the southwestern part of the Caribbean island nation of Antigua and Barbuda, part of the parish of St. Mary's. It is adjacent to the famous Jolly Harbor Marina and Duckwood Beach, and is one of the key communities on the southwestern coast of the island of Antigua.
Bolands is situated on the southwestern coast of Antigua, approximately 15 kilometers from the capital city of St. John's. Known for its tranquil fishing village atmosphere, pristine beaches and easy access to water sports facilities, the local area is an ideal location to experience the traditional Antiguan way of life. The surrounding waters are suitable for recreational activities such as snorkeling and fishing.
The economy is based on fishing, small-scale farming and tourism. With basic amenities, schools and churches, the area retains the simple atmosphere of a Caribbean community. With the development of the Jolly Harbor Marina, Bolands is emerging as one of the hubs for yachts to dock and tourists to explore the west coast.

Antigua's famous coral reef formations are dotted around Bolands for diving enthusiasts to explore the marine life. Small cultural festivals are held annually in the area, showcasing traditional music and cuisine.
