Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. It is known for its coffee farming, surrounded by terraced fields that produce Timor-Leste's premium Arabica coffee beans. Historically, Samu was an important stronghold during Timor-Leste's War of Independence, and remnants of the resistance movement still remain in the area, attracting history buffs to explore. Makoni is a farming town in Mashonaland East province of Zimbabwe, located about 200 kilometers northeast of the capital Harare, in a highland area with a mild climate suitable for farming. The local economy is dominated by agriculture, mainly growing cash crops such as tobacco, maize and cotton, and is one of the important distribution centers for agricultural products in Zimbabwe. Maquero is surrounded by many rural communities, and its residents are predominantly Shona, retaining traditional farming culture and tribal customs. Despite its relatively simple infrastructure, as a regional commercial center, it provides basic material exchange and market services to the surrounding rural areas, and is a central hub of life and economic activity for the local population.
