Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. Majšpek is a town and administrative center in the Upper Carniola region of western Slovenia, situated about 20 kilometers northwest of the capital, Ljubljana. It is situated on the banks of the Sava River and is surrounded by rolling hills and forests in a beautiful and tranquil natural environment.
The earliest written records of Maišpek date back to the 14th century, and historically it was dominated by agriculture and handicrafts. Today, it has grown into a pleasant town of about 8,000 inhabitants and maintains a typical Slovenian small-town appearance.
