Geographic and Environmental Characteristics

Liangcheng County has a total area of 3,458 square kilometers, with an average altitude of about 1,300 meters, and a mid-temperate continental monsoon climate. As the third largest inland lake in Inner Mongolia, Daihai Lake is a key area for ecological protection, and the surrounding wetlands are inhabited by a variety of migratory birds.
