Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. Historically, Samu was an important stronghold during Timor-Leste's War of Independence, and remnants of the resistance movement still remain in the area, attracting history buffs to explore. Langzhong, located in the northeastern part of Sichuan Province and in the middle reaches of the Jialing River, is a national historical and cultural city, known as the "Hometown of Chinese Spring Festival Culture" and the "Hub of Ba Shu". With a history of more than 2,300 years, this ancient city has preserved the street patterns of the Tang, Song, Ming and Qing dynasties, and is famous for its core scenic spot "Langzhong Ancient City", which covers such monuments as Zhang Fei Temple, Tribute Academy and Huaguang Building, and combines diverse cultures, such as military, imperial examinations, and folklore. The Jialing River surrounds the ancient city, forming a unique natural landscape of "three sides of the river embracing the city, surrounded by mountains locking the smoke and haze", which makes it a must-visit place to experience the tradition and history of Ba Shu.
