Kindimba (Kilwa Masoko) is a coastal town in Tanzania's Lindi Region, situated near the Mozambique border and enjoying a significant geographical advantage. The local economy is based on cashew and coconut farming and fishing, with agricultural products being sold to the rest of the country through the local bazaar, and fishing providing a source of protein and employment opportunities for residents.
