Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. Located in the northeastern part of China's Qinghai Province, Haidong City is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Qinghai Province, situated in the transition zone between the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and the Loess Plateau, with an average altitude of about 2,000 meters. As one of the birthplaces of Huangshui culture, Haidong has a rich historical heritage and diversified ethnic customs, where Han, Hui, Tibetan and Tu ethnic groups live in harmony.
