Ganjiang is a municipal district under the jurisdiction of Yangzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China, located in the northern wing of the Yangtze River Delta, and is the core part of the main city of Yangzhou. The area is named after the ancient state of Gan, which has a history of more than 2,500 years and is an important node of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt.
Ganjiang's economy is dominated by high-end equipment manufacturing, electronic information and modern service industries, and has a national high-tech industrial development zone. The area is home to famous scenic spots such as Slender West Lake and Daming Temple, one of the birthplaces of Huaiyang cuisine, and rich in intangible cultural heritage such as paper-cutting and lacquer ware. The transportation network is well-developed, adjacent to Yangzhou Taizhou International Airport, and the Lianhuaiyangzhen High Speed Railway passes through the area.
As the pioneer area of Yangzhou's urbanization development, Ganjiang has both historical and cultural heritage and modern innovation and vitality, and is an important destination for cultural tourism and leisure as well as innovation and entrepreneurship in the Yangtze River Delta region.
Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. The surrounding area is rich in natural beauty and close to Mount Ramelau, Timor-Leste's highest peak, making it a stopover for hiking enthusiasts.
