Same, the capital of Timor-Leste's Ainaro District, is located about 50 kilometers south of the capital, Dili, in the mountainous interior and is an important agricultural and transportation hub for the country. Geji County is located in the Ali region of the Tibet Autonomous Region of China, in the western part of the Tibetan Plateau, with an average altitude of about 4,800 meters and a typical alpine arid climate.
