Located in the southern part of Azerbaijan, Satre District is an important administrative division of the country, known for its natural beauty and agricultural economy. With a total area of about 770 square kilometers and a population of about 100,000, the district is situated in the belt of the Lesser Caucasus Mountains, with a mountainous terrain and a mild climate suitable for the cultivation of cereals and fruits.

With a total area of about 863 square kilometers and a population of about 500,000, the city has agriculture and industry as its main economic pillars, producing crops such as cotton and wheat, and gradually developing machinery manufacturing and textile industries.
With a long history dating back to the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Periods, Nangong boasts numerous cultural heritages, such as the famous Nangong Putong Pagoda and the Ming and Qing Dynasty ancient building complexes. Conveniently located near the Beijing-Guangzhou railroad and highway network, it is connected to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei economic circle. The region is known for its mild climate and simple folkways, making it an ideal destination for exploring Hebei's traditional culture and countryside.
